Our School
Westmount Public School is located in the southwest corner of London. The school opened in 1975 and serves an increasingly diverse population of approximately 630 students from JK to Grade 8. The cultural diversity of the school has grown steadily in recent years so that about 20% of students are involved in English as a Second Language programs. Approximately 40% of our students speak a language other than English at home. School priorities include Literacy and Numeracy through a School Growth Plan and EQAO Action Plan that focuses upon Reading, Writing and Mathematics. The school also enjoys a healthy partnership with the community through the School Council, and a strong Volunteers program. Westmount prides itself on living up to our motto, "Second to None".
